Aluminum Powder Price Increase

Alcoa Aluminum Powder continues to experience increased costs related to energy, transportation, labor, packaging, and raw materials that have not been passed on to customers.  Previous reductions in manufacturing and overhead costs were not able to keep pace with the increased external costs that we are experiencing.  As a result, prices must be increased.

Alcoa is increasing prices for all grades of aluminum powder, effective August 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.  Prices are to increase $.05 to $.25 USD/LB.
