Alcoa (Shanghai) Aluminum Products Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995, whose total investment was USD$75 million and registered capital was USD$25 million. It became a fully-owned subsidiary of Alcoa Inc. in June 2005.
Alcoa Shanghai is located in Minhang Economic & Technology Development Zone in Shanghai, occupying a land area of 76,700 square meters. The company is dedicated to providing premium aluminum foil for food and pharmaceutical packaging, building and construction decoration, electronics, home appliance and automobile industries. Alcoa Shanghai's quality management system and environmental management system have been certified by BSI to be in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 respectively, putting the company in the front rank among domestic foil producers. |
