Alcoa Texarkana
Texarkana, Texas
Partly in Texas, partly in Arkansas, Texarkana is two cities in one. It's a fitting home for Alcoa Texarkana, the newest aluminum rolling mill to join Alcoa Mill Products. Bowie County in Texas and Miller County in Arkansas both claim the city of Texarkana, which sits in the two states and is named for three. Today, Texarkana is a thriving metropolitan area of 56,000 people, inhabiting a landscape fertile enough to produce almost any crop grown in the South. The city is also a center for diversified manufacturing, largely because it sits at the crossroads to the entire Southwestern United States. Texarkana offers residents beautiful parks, lakes and wooded areas to explore.
